One Thousand Years: Genesage
Twelve sons had been born of their Patriarch Ishmael. Ishmael had more sons but these were
the ones recorded as heirs, the rest, well they claimed what they could get. While each son,
heirs that is, had gone on having sons of their own, not many before the fall of ManKind could
trace their heritage back to their Father Ibrahim, Abraham. That is except Abdullahvivors
Father, or so he said.
There weren't too many who would claim the Promises of God to live on in spite of the World
being destroyed or not being the favored Sons of Abraham that is unless you were
Abdullahvivors Father. After all, Abdullah’s Father was a son of Ishmael.
Abdullahvivors Father not only called upon God, the Prophet, Allah, the Koran, the Torah,
the goodwill of some unbeknownst Christian charitable person, but it was rumored
Abdullahvivors Father had even got the best of the Gypsy King he had met once in person. It
was said that Abdullahvivors Father had taught the legendary Gypsy King Mancallah,
"transferring" a considerable wealth to Abdullahvivors Father. This is what the Son of Ishmael
told his children.
After playing Mancallah the Gypsy King, if he had existed, was never seen again. Convenient
in Abdullahvivors Fathers way of thinking. After all, who could argue with the fact that
Abdullahvivors Father had come into some wealth suddenly. It was obvious that
Abdullahvivors Father was shrewd. It was apparent by how often he beat his sons at
Mancallah that he was an expert play. He told the story enough times never varying from it
that he could he either recall accurate facts or tell one great lie after another. Abdullahvivors
Father certainly was interesting to listen to.
Of course another thing about Abdullahvivors Father was that no one knew if any of this was
true. It was History as you heard it, according to…, Abdullahvivors Father.
Abdullahvivors parents had survived the Fall of Mankind welcoming the destruction like a long
awaited Jihad. That's what my father always said, thought Abduallahvivor. His Father liked to
tell a rather jaded or pearled version of the Great Infidels destruction.
The teachings, the writings had all predicted it…, he would say. Allah had planned it. Allah
had done it. Allah had confided in Abdullahvivors Father (of course). Those infidels couldn't
wait to fulfill it, or so he said. There was seldom a time when his Father did not have
something to say. He would talk about anyone, everyone, anything, and everything. It was the
Word According To..., (Abdullahvivors Father).
It was not that Abdullahvivors Father was opinionated. No, He was simply convinced that
Allah had given him all Wisdom and Knowledge, good looks and male prowess. He never
failed to tell everyone in his family that. No doubt hoping if you told someone something long
enough they would begin to believe it. He had a long ways to go with his children with a much
longer ways with his wife.
Allah had chosen Abdullahvivors Father according to Him, to restore one day the glorious
promise of the Kingdom of Ishmael upon the Earth with Mohammed and Jesus as His
Prophets. While this might have been obviously wrong since the Son of God, Son of Man,
King of Kings, was upon the Earth, in point of fact, ruling Abdullahvivors Father, this was
easily explained.
Allah had a secret plan and the secrets were told to....Abdullahvivors Father.
